A foreign HGV has been impounded by the DVSA’s Enforcement team in Gloucestershire after its operator failed to heed warnings about compliance with cabotage rules.
Writing on Twitter, DVSA Enforcement said the operator of the truck had been warned by its South Wales team about carrying out too many haulage jobs in the UK.
As a result of yet another breach of cabotage rules, the vehicle was seized by the DVSA team in Tormarton and will now be disposed of.
The DVSA have yet to provide an update as to the fate of the driver.
