In July, the German Federal Office for Goods Transport (Bundesamt für Güterverkehr - BAG) carried out further controls to check compliance with drivers hours' rules and cabotage regulations, as well as carry out technical roadside inspections. Out of the 1,214 lorries checked for cabotage rules, there were only 64 reported for violation of the regulations.
