Check out this remote-controlled truck more thoroughly. Would you be its driver?
While many drivers were kidding about the trucker’s home office during the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in Europe, some companies are taking it seriously. We have already reported that the Swedish autonomous electric vehicle specialist Einride was looking for a remote controller for their truck. Now, AlJeezera took the chance to check the vehicle out thoroughly.
The outside of the Einride pod might seem to be too futuristic, the reality is that Einride has already announced a long-term partnership with Lidl in Sweden. From October 2020, the first Einride electric trucks will be used in Lidl’s supply chain, which is scheduled to go zero-emission by 2025.
