As reported by Telegraph & Argus, Adam got his HGV licence during his time at the Royal Logistics Corps back in 2004.
For the last four years, he has used the licence to his benefit, hauling goods around Europe for Irish haulage firm Caffrey International.
Despite the much-reported challenges of being a lorry driver, Adam is clearly revelling in his role and offered plenty of positives during his recent interview with Telegraph & Argus.

The trucker, who grew up in Bradford, told the local newspaper:
“I can live in the truck and save a lot of money. It’s not the easiest job but it works for me. When I was living in Bradford I was living hand to mouth, never had any savings, never could afford holidays. You can save up all your money and buy a house in four years on the road. There’s a lot of perks with trucking. It’s more of a lifestyle than a job.”
The lorry driver added that his first few months trucking abroad were “nerve-wracking”, but he has now become accustomed to driving on the other side of the road.
“I want to influence good things and show young people it’s not the end of the world if you don’t get a good education. I got no GCSEs and now I’m travelling the world, living the dream. You can get out of debt, you can change your life. Go out and find the opportunities, that’s what I did,” the ex-Royal Logistics Corps driver told Telegraph & Argus.
