In a tweet, Lancashire road police said that the driver of an HGV travelling south on the M6 near Forton “almost wiped out” one of its vehicles while swerving between lanes.
According to the police the driver was seen “making a brew with no hands on the wheel”.
As a consequence, the HGV driver was reported for due care offences and is likely to have to appear in court.
