A lorry with a smashed windscreen was stopped by the Hungarian police on the M3 motorway on the morning of 24 May 2023.
Driving a lorry in such a state had already shocked the police officers, but the big surprise came when they saw the driver himself.
A man wearing a helmet and goggles opened the door for them.
As the driver later explained, he had decided to wear such PPE to protect his eyes from the wind, which was blowing shards of glass into his face.
The officers described the incredible incident in a Facebook post, adding that the man was fined. informed that he cannot continue to drive a vehicle in such a technical condition”.
