Last Mile Experts' Out of Home Delivery in Europe 2023 report has been published, shedding light on a number of interesting developments in the out-of-home delivery space.   Just as was the case last year, the comprehensive research document provides an overview on the state of the play for out-of-home delivery in the EU27 countries as well as the UK. Besides presenting key data points for each country, the report also looks into the development of out-of-home networks and how they can contribute to a greener last mile.   The report's conclusions point to some interesting developments over the last 12 months.   Poland for example, is now not only the leader in terms of the overall number of parcel lockers at its disposal, but also parcel locker density.   When it comes to the sheer number of lockers overall, the UK and Germany follow Poland, whereas for parcel locker density, the closest countries to Poland are the Czech Republic and Denmark.   The report also found that there is still significant scope for further parcel locker coverage in as many as 17 of the 28 countries covered in the research.   For more on this and a myriad of other findings, download the report for free here.
