ORLEN Paczka has announced that its Polish network of Pick Up, Drop Off (PUDO) points and parcel lockers has surpassed the 10,000 mark.

The company boasts it is improving its offer by adding new partner points and investing in its own parcel lockers. By the end of the year, it is aiming to have 4,000 parcel lockers in Poland (up from 3,300 it had at the end of August).

Moreover, ORLEN Paczka says that at the end of last month, it had PUDO points at ORLEN petrol stations (1,100), RUCH kiosks (700) and at the stores of various other partners (around 5,000).

“The courier services segment is an important part of the ORLEN Group’s retail development strategy. Within 1.5 years, ORLEN Paczka has become an important player on the domestic market and is still developing very dynamically. Within a year, the number of customers for our service has increased by 90 percent. We are focusing on expanding the logistics potential and developing the parcel machine segment, the number of which will double this year,” says Daniel Obajtek, President of the Management Board of the ORLEN Group.

Aside from pick up, drop off infrastructure, ORLEN Paczka is also investing in a network of logistics centers. The company currently has 19 centres and has plans to open another four before 2023 comes to a close.
