The existing restrictions for heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) due to the closure of the Arlberg Tunnel will remain in place during the night-time opening. According to the province of Tyrol, this regulation will initially apply until the end of the week.

A general driving ban applies to HGVs with trailers and articulated vehicles on the B197/L197 Arlberg Pass road for the duration of the full closure of the Arlberg Tunnel (until 22 November 2024). These vehicles must take a wide detour (see alternative routes). On weekends (from Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to Sunday, 10:00 p.m.), there is a general driving ban for lorries with trailers and articulated lorries.

L13 Sellraintal road remains closed

The L13 Sellraintalstraße in the municipality of Sellrain, between Sellrain and Kematen, will also remain closed until at least Friday. A one-way bypass is possible out of the valley via Grinzens (Tanneben district) and into the valley via Oberperfuss (L233 Oberperfer Straße).
