Beware of traffic restrictions in France due to bad weather conditions

The Belgian transport union, Febetra, informed that due to heavy snowfall French authorities introduced traffic restrictions. According to forecasts, bad road conditions will last at least until tomorrow.

Traffic restrictions apply on the following routes:

RN118 in the municipality of Sèvres, ban covers trucks over 13 tonnes,

– N118 in the department of Ile de France: ban on heavy goods vehicles over 3.5 tonnes and for all vehicles carrying dangerous goods,

N20 between Foix and Ur, ban on heavy goods vehicles above 19 tonnes,

N320 and N22 between l’Hospitalet and Andorra, ban on trucks above 19 tonnes,

N320 Col du Puymorens, ban on heavy goods vehicles above 19 tonnes,

The police can also take additional measures to maintain safety on roads, such as speed limits and prohibitions on overtaking vehicles.
