The North-Italian haulage firm says it wants to hire as many as 50 drivers by the end of July. To achieve this goal amid a Europe-wide driver shortage, the company has been publishing offers across social media and in the “L’Arena” newspaper.

A photo of the advertisement was also published in a local paper that was covering the story.

The offer does stand out – particularly the working conditions the carrier promises to provide. Drivers who join the firm between 1st and 31st of July will be entitled to a bonus of €5,000. In the case of lorry drivers with ADR qualifications, the bonus is €6,000.

In addition, the haulage firm is offering net salaries of €2,800 per month, plus two yearly bonuses equivalent to their monthly take-home pay.

On top of that, the new employees “will be entrusted with new trucks of the latest generation, ensuring comfort and safety,” reads the job offer. Finally, candidates will be able to decide whether they will pursue short trips or go on longer, monthly trips.

In order to reach out to as many candidates as possible, the company even says it is able to conduct interviews on weekends.
