Zalando has extended its logistics contracts with CEVA Logistics until at least 2030, securing fulfilment, returns and inbound distribution operations in Germany, the Netherlands and Poland — including the online retailer’s large Rotterdam facility — as it continues integrating ABOUT YOU.

The extensions provide both companies with longer-term operational certainty across several important parts of Zalando’s European logistics network.

The announcement comes as logistics becomes an important part of Zalando’s integration of ABOUT YOU, which it acquired in July 2025. The retailer has identified logistics, payments and business-to-business services as areas in which the combined group can generate savings.

Zalando reported €10 million in synergies from the acquisition during the first quarter of 2026 and expects the figure to reach approximately €40 million for the full year. However, it has not disclosed how much of those savings will come specifically from logistics.

Neil Bennett, Zalando’s vice-president of logistics operations, said the renewed CEVA agreements would provide the capabilities needed to serve customers and partners while the company continued to optimise its network following the ABOUT YOU integration.

The group continues to operate Zalando, ABOUT YOU and Lounge by Zalando as separate consumer brands.

CEVA and Zalando have worked together since 2009. Chris Walton, CEVA’s senior vice-president of contract logistics, said the extensions demonstrated the strength of the relationship and CEVA’s focus on developing “efficient, scalable and resilient” supply-chain operations.

Zalando serves around 62 million active customers across 29 markets and connects them with more than 7,000 brands.

CEVA, part of the CMA CGM Group, operates approximately 1,700 facilities in 170 countries, employs around 110,000 people and reported revenue of $18.3 billion in 2025.
