Clipper Logistics CEO wins Logistics Leader of the Year Award

Tony Mannix, CEO of Clipper Logistics, has won CEO Today Magazine’s 2021 Logistics Leader of the Year Award.

Mannix, who has spent 15 years at the company, including 7 years as CEO, recently thanked his colleagues for their work in a LinkedIn post showing off the award.

 

Under Mannix’s stewardship, Clipper Logistics have established themselves as one of the UK’s leading independent logistics companies with a turnover of over £650m.

According to the company’s own website, Clipper Logistics currently has over 10,000 highly-skilled employees, plus a network of 55 European sites covering 11.8 million sq ft of warehousing space. The business also operates a fleet of over 350 vehicles.

In its 2020 interim results, published on 3rd December 2020, the company’s revenue growth increased by 19.8% to £305.2 million.

In recent months, Clipper Logistics has signed new contracts with major retailers including River Island, Mountain Warehouse and Liberty.

In addition, the company entered into an agreement with Farfetch in january to provide pan-European e-fulfilment and returns management services from a new facility in the Netherlands.
