Czech truck toll revenue up slightly on 2022 figures

Czechia's road toll operator, Czechtoll, has announced that in the first six months of this year, hauliers paid 7.5 billion crowns in tolls (roughly €313,7m).

The revenue represents a very modest 0.15% year-on-year increase.

However, last month, the revenue was up by 1.46% year-on-year. In June alone, toll collection reached 1.335 billion crowns – the third highest monthly amount since 2007.

At the end of May, 791,000 vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tons were registered in the country’s electronic toll system. Interestingly, 616,000 of these vehicles (87%) had foreign license plates.
