The facility, which is TAPA A, AEO, and customs-approved, aims to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
The facility includes solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations, and is equipped with an X-ray machine for local air cargo screening, facilitating cargo departures from Manchester Airport.
Scott also highlighted the benefits to the local community, noting the creation of job opportunities and economic growth:
