Elvis bets on Lancelot. The innovative equipment bravely tackles unloading

Although Lancelot, tested by the German international shipping association Elvis, has little to do with Round Table Knights, it can be a useful tool to simplify the delivery of large and heavy goods.

The self-loading special forklift named Lancelot is a solution for carriers working for e-commerce companies. The special forklift truck is designed to facilitate and speed up the delivery of larger goods to private customers. This includes shipments of up to 650 kg and a maximum length of 6.5 m.

The transport of large and heavy goods was previously reserved mainly for specialized logistics companies due to the required equipment. Thanks to Lancelot, these transports can now also be operated with conventional tarpaulin trailers,” says Jochen Eschborn, head of the Elvis association.

“Its (Lancelot’s – editorial note) capabilities are sufficient to handle most transports of this type, which in turn allows carriers to expand their portfolios without having to take on more financial risks,” adds Eschborn.

The equipment weighs 300 kg and can be easily transported in a truck. Additional equipment or adaptations to the trailer are not necessary.
