In eastern France, the police have been hunting truckers who are watching movies while driving, for a month. Such drivers are threatening not just themselves but also other road users.
The police officers of Belfort enjoy an elevated area of the A36 to hunt drivers who watch movies while driving, reports the French portal francetvinfo.fr. They watch the trucks, and when they catch the trucker in the act, they rush after him in pursuit and stop him. The amount of the fine is 750 euros.
The police caught eight drivers for such an offence in this area during February.
