Truckers in the French commune of Gratibus have paid an extraordinary tribute to a fellow lorry driver whose life was taken away from him after just 32 years.

Logan Bendou died in a car accident on February 19 on his way back from Belgium, where he had left his truck. According to French road transport website Routiers, the father-of-two was extremely popular with his friends and colleagues.

Last saturday, a large parade of more than 100 trucks made its way from Roye to Montdidier, where Logan’s parents live. The trucks then moved on to Gratibus, where the latter now rests.

Truckers from across Belgium and France took part in the tribute, which was organised with the help and the supervision of the local authorities.
