Germany now requires lorry drivers coming from Sweden and Hungary to complete registrations, while those crossing into German border from Moselle must present negative covid tests.
Germany has added Sweden and Hungary to its list of areas considered to have a high risk of coronavirus.
As a result, Truck drivers entering Germany from Sweden and Hungary will need to register via einreiseanmeldung.de if they have spent more than 24 hours in these countries or will be in Germany for more than 24 hours.
In addition, lorry drivers crossing from France into Germany from the region of Moselle must present negative covid tests. The tests should be no older than 48 hours. They be PCR or antigen tests, in paper or dematerialized format, in German, English or French.
