GXO handles approximately 2.4 million items annually for Versace, covering garments, accessories, perfumes, jewellery, home products, and raw materials. The company operates from two warehouses in Bellinzago Novarese and Novara, each featuring mezzanines totalling 12,000 square metres.
GXO has introduced technologies such as hanging garment sorters, RFID systems, and conveyor belts to improve operational efficiency. The company also employs LED lighting and a direct staffing model as part of its ESG initiatives.
Alessandro Renzo, GXO’s Managing Director for Italy and Switzerland, stated that the partnership has expanded over time, incorporating new sales channels and product lines. He highlighted the company’s focus on continuous technological improvements.
Versace Logistics Director Fulvio Mizzau noted that GXO’s experience in luxury fashion logistics, along with its technological advancements, plays a key role in supporting Versace’s operations. He expressed confidence in meeting future challenges with GXO’s support.
GXO operates more than 60 sites in Europe dedicated to fashion logistics, providing services such as e-commerce fulfilment, omnichannel distribution, and reverse logistics. The company utilises technologies like 3D sortation systems, robotic picking arms, wearable scanners, and 3D packaging to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
