The accident occurred early this morning, causing road closures on the link roads from the M6 south onto the A14 east and the A14 west onto the M6 north.
It is expected that the closures could remain in place for most of the day, as repairs to the damaged barrier will need to be made.

Most importantly, police have confirmed the driver of the lorry is safe and was injured by the accident.
