A lorry driver had a shocking experience on Monday afternoon, November 21, in the town of Bremerhaven-Lehe, Germany, when two tyres came loose while driving.

At around 12.10 p.m., the 60-year-old trucker was driving a lorry in a residential area of the town, when two left rear tyres suddenly fell completely off the vehicle during a left-hand turn.

One of the wheels rolled across the street and crashed into a parked car on the side of the road with full force.

The lorry continued to grind across the asphalt without tyres until it came to a standstill.

The driver was only able to continue his journey after a mechanic on site put new tyres on the truck.

The traffic accident caused damage of around 2,750 euros. Fortunately, nobody was injured.
