A video uploaded to YouTube earlier this month has shown how dozens of villagers helped rescue a truck that had dropped 20 metres down a gorge.
The video was reportedly filmed on Thursday January 7th in India’s Nagaland region. As can been seen in the video embedded above, the villagers used ropes and vines to pull the truck up a steep bank and back onto the road.
VOA News, who uploaded the video, say that the driver of the truck was not hurt in the accident according to local news reports.
