Due to unfavorable meteorological conditions, traffic restrictions for heavy goods vehicles in Spain are in force on many roads.
Spanish media are alarming about bad weather conditions. From Saturday, many roads are closed to truck traffic. Restrictions and bans already apply on roads LU-636 and LU-633 at the height of Becerreá, Pedrafita to Cebreiro and Láncar (Lugo province in Galicia), as well as A-67 in Aguilar de Campoo (province of Palencia) and A-66 en Ribaseca (León) connecting Meseta with Cantabria and Asturias. Some roads in the south of Spain are also impassable: A-337 at the height of Puerto de la Ragua in the province of Granada and section A-395 between 32 and 38 kilometers (in both directions).

You can check the current situation and route availability on the official website of the Spanish General Directorate of Road Traffic (DGT).
We remind you what the markings on the DGT map mean
Four levels of roadblocks:
– Green – just starting to rain. Trucks should only move with the right belt. Motorways can be driven at a maximum speed of 100 km / h, and on national roads 80 km / h. Mountain passes should be avoided.
– Yellow – the road surface is partly covered with snow. Driving ban for trucks.
– Red – road surface completely covered with snow. Driving ban for trucks.
– Black – road closed.
