Today’s headline story: Just Eat and Iceland supermarket chain announce UK delivery partnership
UK supermarket chain Iceland has announced a partnership with Just Eat that will bring a rapid grocery delivery service to over 200 stores.
According to the budget supermarket, their rapid delivery service app will have over 5,000 products – both fresh and frozen.
Among the cities covered by the deal are London, Manchester, Belfast and Leeds. Further cities are expected to be added later in the year.
Commenting on the news, Justin Addison, Iceland Foods international and wholesale director, said:
“At Iceland our customers are our priority, and we consistently hear that they want more convenient access to our products – both on high streets across the UK and from the comfort of their homes. We are excited to be partnering with Just Eat, enabling us to expand our offering with instant delivery at the click of a button.”
Amy Heather, Just Eat director of strategic accounts, added:
