Officers published two photos of the attempt to transport a broken Transit on the M20 motorway near Maidstone yesterday. Even the officer was shocked how anyone could think this transportation might be fine.

As you can clearly see, the broken Transit is longer and wider than the recovery trailer, and the back of the van is just a couple of centimetres away from the road.

As the police added, the vehicle was prohibited from moving any further and the driver will be summoned to court.

Twitter users found the images hilarious:

“Well, that puts a whole new slant on „it’s on, it’s gone”. Yes but it does actually have to be ON!!!! With driver on board it probably is overweight” – one commenter wrote.

“How did they manage to get the tyres wedged under the sills & i’m surprised that tonka toy had enough grunt to move it in the 1st place! What a Rodney!” – someone else added.
