Kuehne+Nagel’s Healthcare Air Logistics Network awarded IATA CEIV Pharma Re-Certification

Kuehne+Nagel recently completed its third consecutive IATA CEIV Pharma certification for its entire air logistics healthcare network. This achievement solidifies Kuehne+Nagel's position as the first logistics company to have more than 100 CEIV Pharma-certified stations.

The IATA CEIV Pharma certification is a collaborative effort between IATA, aviation industry stakeholders, and regulators aimed at addressing the need for safer, secure, compliant, and efficient handling of pharmaceutical products in the air cargo supply chain.

Kuehne+Nagel’s CEIV Pharma-certified network currently extends to 66 countries across all seven continents, making it the world’s largest network of its kind.

Commenting, Harsha Ranasinghe, Senior Vice President, Global Head of Air Logistics Products & Services at Kuehne+Nagel, stated:

“In 2017, Kuehne+Nagel became the first to attain CEIV Pharma certification for its healthcare air network. Since then, we continue to collaborate with IATA to drive quality and compliance standards for pharmaceutical handling excellence within air freight.”
