Today’s headline story: La Poste plans to hire over 9,000 more staff this year
French postal operator La Poste has plans to hire over 9,000 new staff in 2023, reports capital.fr.
According to the report, the total number of vacancies available is stated as 9,100, with 4,800 of those permanent contracts.
“We are traditionally a major employer in France. The recruitment planned for 2023 is in line with previous years, to within one or two hundred”, Véronique Jau-Poupineau, director of employer branding at the La Poste group, was quoted as saying.
While that may sound like business as usual, it is worth noting that some national postal operators have announced job cuts lately, namely the Czech Post and the Hungarian Post.
