Lane closures and traffic flow changes in the Fréjus tunnel in June

The Fréjus Tunnel, a vital link between France and Italy, will be closed and traffic flow modified throughout June to allow for essential maintenance and safety improvements.

The tunnel will be completely closed from 23:00 on Saturday, June 22nd, until 05:00 on Sunday, June 23rd.

Alternating one-way traffic will be implemented on the following nights throughout June:

  • Tuesday: 22:30 to 04:30
  • Wednesday: 22:30 to 04:30
  • Thursday: 22:30 to 04:30
  • Friday: 22:30 to 04:30
  • Saturday: 22:30 to 04:30
