Writing on LinkedIn, Certas Energy described the truck parking facility as a new brand and new concept. The plan is for the parking area to gain TAPA level 3 (and perhaps level 2) accreditation.

“It is our first secure truck park, and our second should open in December in southern France. We want to create a truck parking network in France to answer the needs and expectations of drivers,” says Arnaud Paemelaere from Certas France.

The parking facility is located on a strategic road in the centre of France, at the crossroads of the A71 and A79. It opened on May 16th and has been built from scratch.

On site, it has 24/7 CCTV, sanitary facilities, vending machines with snacks and drinks, dining and chill out areas, laundry facilities, free wifi and plugin support for refrigerated trailers.
