May’s Makers & Movers Global Summit features array of logistics experts and influencers

Next month’s Makers and Movers Global Virtual Summit, dedicated to global transportation access and cost, is to feature a wide array of high-profile speakers from across the logistics industry.

At the time of writing, some 26 experts are set to speak during the event, which is to be held on Wednesday, May 12th.

Among those on the bill are supply chain influencers Daniel Stanton, Dr. Muddassir Ahmed and Sheri R. Hinish, who have almost 150,000 LinkedIn followers between them.

Other speakers of note include Gareth Davies, Head of Global Logistics at Lenovo; Bjorn Vang Jensen, VP Advisory Services – Global Supply Chain at Sea-Intelligence; Charles Brewer, Chief Operating Officer at Canada Post; Dr. Susana Val, Director of the Zaragoza Logistics Center; and Andrea Abegg, VP Global Distribution & Logistics at Estee Lauder.

Around 4,500 people are expected to participate during the one-day event, which also features 1-on-1 virtual networking and panel discussions in addition to the expert speeches.

Organisers Alcott Global say the Global Summit will be a forum for like-minded decision-makers and experts from all facets of the logistics and supply chain arenas to come together, share, learn and come up with better solutions to tackle the global challenges surrounding transportation.
