“Name a bin lorry after your ex,” says waste collection firm’s cheeky Valentine’s Day campaign

Would you like to see your ex-partner’s name on a bin lorry?

If so, you can fill in a short form on the waste management company divert‘s homepage to get a chance for it to happen.

Applicants can even choose between having the name on a big bin lorry or a smaller tipper van.

The option is open to anyone, and it is absolutely free. However, the company says one should bear in mind that the deadline is Valentine’s Day, and submitting a name doesn’t mean it will be picked.

The company hasn’t decided yet how long the names will decorate the lorries, spokesperson Mark Hall told trans.iNFO.

Will you be able to spot the lorry named after your “rubbish” ex? Well, Mr Hall told trans.iNFO that the company “may” publish the locations where the bin truck with the name you sent in will operate.
