Nearly all of Europe is undergoing TISPOL inspections. See where and what they will check

We would like to remind you that since yesterday, 26 February until 4 March the European Traffic Police Network – TISPOL is organizing traffic control operations in many European Union countries. Police activities apply only to heavy goods vehicles and buses.

TISPOL officers check first of all:
– vehicle, cargo and driver documents,
– tachographs in terms of compliance with the provisions of Regulation 561/2006 determining the periods of work and rest of drivers,
– ADR vehicle registration certificates and other documents required by national and EU regulations.

The police also focus on controlling the speed and psychophysical condition of drivers.

Where will the control operation be carried out?

The campaign will be conducted in countries belonging to the TISPOL organization, i.e. in: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, France, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway , Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Great Britain, Estonia and Italy.
