1817 km – this is what the longest railway line in China will measure. Menghua, because this is the name of the investment implemented by the Chinese, will be used to transport coal. Part of the route along which the line is being built is a spectacular viaduct, which is almost 8 km.
After completing all work, the Menghua railway line will connect coal mining areas in northern China with an industrial centre in the south of the country (starting with Inner Mongolia in the north and ending in Jiangxi province). The opening of the line is planned for the end of 2019 – informs pandrol.com.
