The Lithuanian company’s HQ in Vilnius will be named be named Girteka Park; it is said the facility shall boast an “exclusive” interior that resembles a “natural oasis”.
In a statement, Girteka Logistics said the new HQ will encourage employees to stay at the facility and “work on the principle of cooperation”. Employees may nonetheless choose to work from home, as the company says it uses the hybrid model.

Mindaugas Aleška, Head of Administration at Girteka Logistics, says the new office has been built with employee comfort in mind:
“Seeking to create good working conditions for all members of our team, we are glad that more than 2,400 administrative colleagues will move to work in an office that follows modern office trends and meets the needs formed by the new reality. When choosing the new headquarters, we focused on ensuring comfort for our colleagues looking for a convenient office location and the functionality of the building. We also wanted our HQ, which will bring together the most administrative staff, to be suitable for cooperation.”
Girteka Park will be located next to one of the main transport access points in Vilnius, Laisvės ave. 36. Besides that, the Girteka Logistics says the location makes the office easily accessible via public transport.
In addition to a gym, a library, a restaurant and other services, the 6-story office will also be feature as many as five outdoor terraces. These spaces will allow employees to work and eat outdoors, as well as relax on sun loungers.
The building in which Girteka Park is to be located is leased from the project developer and real estate development company Gallio Group. Aurimas Martinkėnas, the company’s project director, says Girteka’s HQ will even create additional value for the whole area:
“While developing this project, we aimed to create a solution for companies which are looking for modern quality office space located in a very well accessible area for both employees and partners. Creating new projects, we wish to give our future clients everything they might need: aesthetics, high level of comfort, natural lighting, fresh air, also an ability to change office layout. In addition, I believe this modern business center and its future community will inflate life and create addition value for the whole area”.
Girteka Park will span as much as 14,000 square metres. It comes with A+ energy class building, as well as a BREEAM Very Good certificate for the technical design of the building. Moreover, once the building is completed, solar panels will be installed on its roof – producing about 10% of the office’s annual electricity demand.

The facility’s underground, above ground and nearby car parking lots will have capacity for 540 parking spaces, some of which will have charging points for electric vehicles. There will also be storages for bicycles and scooters, shower cubicles and changing rooms.
