The port operator states that these tariffs aim to align with climate objectives and enhance the distribution of road transport across our terminals.
Here’s a detailed breakdown:
**Climate Tariff:**
Designed to facilitate a modal shift and contribute broadly to climate objectives, the Climate Tariff is set at €2.50 per visiting truck. It is applicable to both the ECT Delta and ECT Euromax terminals. Notably, zero-emission trucks are exempt as they align with climate objectives.
**Distribution Surcharge and Distribution Premium:**
For trucks visiting the ECT Delta and/or ECT Euromax terminals on weekdays between 5:00 am and 7:00 pm, a Distribution Surcharge of €13.50 per visit will be imposed.
Simultaneously, a Distribution Premium of €4.50 per visit will be granted to trucks visiting during nights and/or weekends. It’s important to note that the surcharge and premium are calculated separately for each terminal per month, with no direct payouts. However, up to three night and/or weekend visits can offset the cost of one daytime visit.
