Renault Trucks presented a video showing a prototype truck that will use less traditional fuel. A vehicle made up of a tractor unit and a semi-trailer is designed to reduce rolling resistance and improve the aerodynamics of the set.

The effect in the form of a 13% reduction in fuel consumption is to be achieved, among others, by replacing mirrors with cameras, changing the profile of the front of the tractor and the upper part of the cab, as well as lowering the height of the roof in the rear part of the semi-trailer. The aerodynamic properties are also to be influenced by the appropriate shape of the wheel arches and the addition of covers along the sides of the semi-trailer, which will cover the wheels. At the same time, Optifuel Lab 3 gained a slightly more futuristic look.
