Trucks without drivers might start driving on the roads sooner than we think. Plus.ai has announced that it has completed a test drive of an autonomous truck.

The vehicle, carrying some 18 tons of butter in its semi-trailer, covered 4,500 kilometres in less than three days. The journey started in California and ended in Pennsylvania. Although the truck was driving autonomously, a driver and engineer were in the cabin, just in case. But their assistance was not necessary. In the following video, you can see the journey of the autonomous truck.
