The truck was pulled over in Bavaria on Monday on the Neuendettelsau junction of the A6 motorway.

When inspecting the documents, officers discovered that the relevant company seal was missing from the transport permit. However, this was not the only violation.

An inspection of tachograph records showed that the driver had much more on his conscience.

Besides several other violations of working and rest time, the police discovered that Turkish trucker had been driving for 33 hours without a break. In addition, they also found that he had exceeded the speed limit.

Due to all of the above, officers fined the driver €4,000 and his employer €18,000. The vehicle was also immobilised until all the fines had been paid.
