Portugal travel restrictions: download your exemption form here

In an bid to prevent a rapid rise in coronavirus infections, authorities in Portugal have opted to introduce travel restrictions this weekend ahead of their All Saints Day public holiday.

As a result of the restrictions, city-to-city travel is banned from Friday October 30th (at 00.00) to Tuesday November 3rd (until 06.00). It is nonetheless possible to travel between regions and cities for work reasons during this period.

According to the Spanish transport organization CETM, people carrying out road transport of goods must have a certificate issued by their employer that confirms they are carrying out their professional activity.

The CETM has made its certificate template available for download here; the pdf file contains info on each blank in English, giving you the info to fill in the gaps accordingly.
