French minister Edouard Philippe said in an interview for France 2 yesterday that the government does not anticipate any changes to the law on diesel tax increases. In many places, participants of protests against government plans block access roads, roundabouts and access to motorways.

According to reports from the French media, apart from roads, protesters blocked several oil depots this morning, including Vern-sur-Seiche, near Rennes in Brittany, but also at La Pallice in La Rochelle.

The depot in Fos-sur-Mer at Bouches-du-Rhone is also blocked by demonstrators. To the north of Toulouse, the entry to the Total oil depot in Lespinasse is closed by a filtered roadblock, i.e. one that selectively allows some trucks to pass.

In Drôme, the „yellow vests” took positions around the Portes-lès-Valencedepot, where they block the cisterns.
