Map of the best roadside eateries in Spain as rated by lorry drivers

A Spanish transportation blog has created an interactive map of roadside eateries that HGV drivers recommend the most. You can find out where to get the best steak for a reasonable price or how much a menu generally costs in a given region.

“If you see trucks parked in a restaurant on the road, STOP!! …. surely you will eat well there,” says the interactive map freight and truck exchange company Wtransnet, who produced the map.

The map contains more than 200 restaurants throughout Spain, recommended by HGV drivers and carriers.

Using the map is simple, you just have to look for the road you are interested in and see what restaurants there are.

If you place the cursor over the restaurant icons, which are marked with a red symbol with a knife and a spoon in white, information about the place will appear on the left: name, description, street, telephone number and approximate price of the menu and the menu, and sometimes the Wtransnet review of the place.
