In a statement published on social media, Eventor said the acquisition had “significantly strengthened its position in the event logistics sector”.
The company added that the addition of Stardes would “further enhance Eventor’s capabilities and enable the business to provide an even more comprehensive service to its clients”.
In its press release, Eventor described Stardes as a major player in the event logistics arena, and complimented the company on its “strong track record of delivering seamless event solutions with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and quality.”
Eventor says that Stardes will benefit from “ultimately joining the Culina Group family, which will provide investment and job retention whilst bringing an entrepreneurial spirit.”
Commenting on the deal, David Simpson, Director at Eventor, said:
“The acquisition of Stardes by Eventor marks an exciting development for both businesses, which are highly complementary in terms of their operations, reputation, and values. The synergies resulting from this acquisition are poised to be mutually advantageous for personnel and clients alike. With shared values and a commitment to excellence, the combined strengths of these two highly regarded companies will drive significant growth and innovation in the event logistics space.”
The Stardes acquisition comes around 3 months since Culina Group acquired International Road Ferry for an undisclosed amount.
In January, Culina Group said its overall turnover was more than £2.2 Billion, with its combined workforce in excess of 22,000 employees at peak. The company also said it had 20 million square feet of warehousing and a joint fleet of more than 5,000 vehicles.
Other haulage firms now part of the Culina Group, which is owned by German food giant Müller, include Eddie Stobart, Great Bear, Fowler Welch, Warrens, Morgan Mclernon and Robsons.
