Stellantis Pro One, the commercial vehicle business unit of Stellantis NV, and Iveco, a manufacturer and seller of light, medium, and heavy commercial vehicles, announced last week that they have signed agreements to supply two fully electric light commercial vehicles (LCVs) for the European market.
“These vehicles will be built on the fully electric Stellantis Pro One platforms for medium and large delivery vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of 2.8 to 4.25 tonnes,” Stellantis reports.
The e-vans will be manufactured at Stellantis factories in Atessa (Italy), Gliwice (Poland), and Hordain (France). They will then be shipped to the Iveco Group, which will distribute them in the European market, including Great Britain.
“With gross vehicle weights ranging from 2.8 to 3.1 tonnes and from 3.5 to 4.25 tonnes, respectively, the two future Iveco vans will complete the brand’s battery electric vehicle (BEV) offering in Europe and expand it into the lighter segment. This will provide customers with a wider range of vehicles for all applications. These vehicles will be sold alongside the iconic eDaily model,” Stellantis reports.
The partners aim to launch the new models by mid-2026, with deliveries expected to continue for ten years.
This long-term partnership also represents a commitment to the transition towards sustainable mobility.
“We are delighted to be able to add two innovative and versatile electric vans to our light commercial vehicle range. This will increase our competitiveness in the van segment. We decided to work with Stellantis Pro One because we want to benefit from their expertise and strong position in Italy and across Europe—especially since these elements have historically united our companies. I am convinced that this winning partnership will benefit our European customers and, above all, help them succeed in their last-mile logistics services,” commented Luca Sra, President of the Truck Division of the Iveco Group.
