Strike in a French port: Disruption expected

The French trade union CNTPA-CFDT has announced a two-day strike that will affect operations at the port of Dunkirk.

Dock workers at the port of Dunkirk will stop work for 48 hours. The CNTPA-CFDT union will begin strike action on Thursday at 6 a.m., ending on Saturday (15 March) at 6 a.m.

“The commercial activities of Terminal des Flandres will be disrupted, including ship operations, parking, gate access, and loading,” reports the Belgian carriers’ union Febetra.
