Hegelmann Group issue statement after subcontractor is accused of “modern slavery”

Readers may recall that in the days before Christmas, a Belgian trade union slammed the logistics companies responsible for a Ukrainian trucker spending 17 weeks in his cab with nothing to live on other than a few euros worth of credit on an expenses card. The case involved a subcontractor of the Hegelmann Group, who have now issued a statement regarding the matter.
