Back in January, the Swiss Federal Council amended the ordinance on the performance-based heavy vehicle fee (HVF). As a result, tolls for older trucks will be increased on July 1st.
Among other things, the Federal Council decided to classify the older Euro IV and Euro V trucks from the middle to the most expensive HVF category.
In addition, the 10% discount that has existed since 2011 for Euro II and Euro III vehicles with particle filters will be canceled .
The new fees are as follows:
