American e-truck, Thor will soon be tested by UPS. The manufacturer counts on the courier company’s support in launching a fully electric vehicle fleet on the market. UPS is evaluating our Medium Duty vehicles for use in their parcel delivery routes.
Nobody is able to create a fully electric truck completely alone,” stated Dakota Semler, co-founder, and president of start-up Thor, on his blog.
That is why companies must establish cooperation with large corporations. The company found such a partner in UPS and it is the giant’s logo from the courier industry that will be displayed on the first copy of ET-One.
UPS will help us understand what we still need to do to launch a fully electric fleet of trucks,” adds Semler.
According to Semler, UPS will test Thor’s truck in Los Angeles for the next six months. The start-up boss hopes that after successful tests, UPS will expand the fleet with additional ET-One trucks.
