The Tispol organisation announced another operation of inspecting heavy goods vehicles and buses on the roads throughout the European Union. Such campaigns are usually organised twice a year.

Intensifying the inspection is planned for 24 to 30 July and applies to all 28 EU member states. In the course of the inspections the officers will be checking whether drivers comply with national regulations in force in a given country and the EU regulations.

The police will focus on speed control, time of work and rest periods for drivers and their psychophysical condition. The officers will be also checking the ADR certificates of approval and other documents required by national and EU regulations.
