Toll increase in two Alpine countries

From 1 January 2025, toll rates in both Switzerland and Liechtenstein will increase by 5%.

The toll amount in both countries is calculated based on the distance travelled and depends on the total weight and emission class of the vehicle. Proportional mileage-based tolls in Switzerland and Liechtenstein apply to goods transport vehicles with a gross vehicle weight exceeding 3.5 tonnes.

Below are the current and future toll rates for Liechtenstein and Switzerland:
